I have been eating here for years now. I can't believe this is the first time I am leaving a review. Tommy and his Mom make an amazing team and some of the best food I have ever eaten comes from the shop in Montgomery. My daughters and I used to stop by when I picked them up after school for donairs and deserts. Everything is homemade and delicious!! Thanx Tommy and Mom! Great to see you both the other day!
Tom is always so nice, welcomes with warm heart and is very generous. Most of all their wrap is amazing! Strongly recommend to go try yourselves one!!
Love this place. Little family run business that has been here for over 20 years, and I've been coming here for about that long. Store has an older look / feel but very welcoming. (Photo shows cash only, but they now accept debit) Quality is great! Very tasty sauce and donairs made well, with options for extras such as hot peppers. Good size and good prices. Staff is very friendly and part of the reason I go back.
Tiny friendly place, 2 tables and a bunch of very well cared for plants. I had a regular donair with cheese, and it was the best I have had in Calgary. The meat is wonderful, definitely lots of lamb. Great sauce, right amount of the right veggies. I am sure their falafel would be good too.
Now this was a great donair! It was fresh, tasted great and was made with care (i literally cannot stand when they fall apart). Also love the way it was wrapped and the fact it didn’t get soggy by the time we got home was amazing !! Will definitely be coming back! ...
I had my first Donair here when I was 8 years old or so. I was surprised to see they're still there after almost 30 years. Great food, great service and prices.
I have been coming here for awhile now since I have been working across the street. Consistency here is pretty top notch, I enjoy the atmosphere of the shop and the simplicity of the menu. His hot sauce mix is delicious.
Have been multiple times since moving to Montgomery a couple years ago. Delicious and fair value. Debit machine doesn't even allow you to leave a tip, unlike almost every other place these days where it seems a tip is expected. Will return again and again. Thanks Tom (and your mom)!!
